The Summer of Brenda?

This was going to be it. This was going to be the summer of Brenda. I wasn't going to teach this summer, I wasn't going to take classes, I was going to spend the summer in my garden and in Elaine's pool. I was going to call old freinds and go visit them. But first, we were going to do a little work on the cabin. WOW! A little work turned into a full blown rebuilding. The four outer walls and the loft are all that remain the same. In between the demolition and the redo, our beloved willow fell in the river and took three weeks to get it out. Was it worth giving up my wild ideas about the summer of Brenda? Absolutely!! I now intend to have the Autum of Brenda. I will teach all week (which I love more than I can say) and enjoy the crisp colorful air of fall on the weekends. I thought I would post a few of the pictures Grant and I took.
